Residential Sector
Our Twinnedit solution ensures residents feel confident that they are being kept safe and informed in their own homes.
As you can see, the Twinnedit solution was evolved from the requirements of the housing sector to ensure residents of High Rise Buildings (HRB’s) are kept safe – from all of the lessons learned from the horrific Grenfell Tower tragedy that happened in 2017. The sector needed to re-set itself in the way they truly understood their residents and buildings. Bringing together a Golden Thread of information for residents and the building’s owner to truly ensure building safety.
Conceived in 2018, developed and then launched in 2020 – Deeo’s Twinnedit has become the defacto solution to building owners and operators across England and beyond to ensure Resident and Building Safety and Wellness.
Care Homes and Wellbeing schemes bring additional complexities. Not only do residents live in smaller room spaces, but they also have communal rooms, commercial kitchens, beauty salons and many more other areas where things may go wrong! Imagine being one of the Fire service trying to navigate all of this – with no information to hand!
That’s why we also created a Care variant of Twinnedit. Aligned to not only the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022 (in which Care homes will be gradually phased into complying with) we also have an aligned My Home portal that not only informs the residents of how you and they can keep safe, but also informs them of News, events, food menu’s and other Care Home specific information – the list goes on!
Student accommodation has also historically been a risk for their residents and building owners/operators. Having smaller homes means a greater overall risk to the building’s population. With younger, less experienced residents living independently for the first time brings a higher risk of potential incident.
We have created a Student variant of Twinnedit that not only brings together all of the key information about the building for the owner/operator to manage their building but also University access to ensure their students, who they have a duty of care to ensure safety, are safe. It also has a Student specific “My Home” shared resident portal for the students to access all of the information on how they are being kept safe and educate them on how to keep themselves and others safe too!
The principles of Twinnedit adopted for High Rise Buildings is also relevant to smaller 3-6 story residential buildings. These mid rise buildings are in many cases more complex, larger and problematic than High Rise stock.
The residents of these buildings also need to be assured their buildings are safe and well. Although not currently within the Building Safety Acts 2022’s scope, organisations recognise that these buildings need the same attention as their taller cousins!
